“What do we love about Pasadera? For us, living in Pasadera feels like living in paradise. The natural beauty, plus the warm and welcoming residents, made it feel like home for us from the very beginning ... before it was home. We love the sights, sounds and pleasures of everyday life here. We are in awe of the incredible views. California sunshine on rolling hills, peaking through laced oak trees ... it takes us back to childhood, when life moved at a slower pace. It’s delightful to hear ducks and geese in the ponds and water trickling in the brook! Stunning January sunrises are worth the early wake-up. Open views and velvet lawns beckon us outdoors.
“We have come to appreciate a simple walk down a gravel path to use the gym, studio or pools. Oh, the joy of fresh air and music in the studio, invigorating a Saturday morning Zumba class! At any spur of moment, we can be sipping a cocktail with friends around the fire pit. To hear the chatter of members gathering at the weekly social is a delight, as is the clinking of glasses and resulting sound of laughter all around. The gracious staff and gatekeepers have smiles on their faces, too, and ... we know each other.
“We’re amazed at the convenience to local services, considering the peacefulness of the surrounding area. The natural beauty and character of the Monterey Peninsula offer us a vast variety of activities to enjoy. We can’t quite believe that we get to drive through the country to arrive home. Though life keeps us busy, living in Pasadera has encouraged our pause and daily gratitude for all life has to offer. Pasadera feels lively, comfortable and familiar, and we feel so fortunate to call it home.” – Lori and Skip E.
"We’ve made more friends here in the past year alone than we did in 10 years in our former neighborhood. There are golf buddies, book clubs and neighbors you can turn to. The Club has so many resident members that belonging to the Club feels like a natural extension of our community.
"If you want tranquility, natural beauty and nice neighbors, Pasadera can't be beat. You won’t find nicer, better-built homes at a better price in a prettier setting, and the weather at Pasadera is nearly always wonderful. Lots of sunshine, even when it’s foggy elsewhere. As for convenience, within 10-15 minutes you have access to most medical professionals, the airport, shopping, drugstores, banks, car dealerships and nice restaurants. One thing we all agree on: Pasadera is a special place to live." -- Jeff K.
“Unlike some other affluent areas of the Monterey Peninsula, the folks who live here actually live here. It’s a real neighborhood.”
